My Background
I am a systems architect and engineer driven by solving complex, multi-layered problems. Instead of just writing code, I focus on bridging the gap between hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure to architect resilient, end-to-end solutions.
As the CTO and Embedded Systems Engineer at Code & Circuits, I translate real-world challenges into automated, hardware-backed IoT solutions using precision sensors and microcontrollers. Simultaneously, as a DevOps Engineer at Zone01 Kisumu, I solve infrastructure bottlenecks—designing scalable, zero-downtime deployment pipelines utilizing AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes to keep operations running effortlessly.
Previously, as a DevOps Engineer at Chichwa (in partnership with UNDP), I helped secure and scale a digital agricultural marketplace that directly solved logistical challenges for farmers, cooperatives, and buyers across Kenya.
My technical stack spans Go, Rust, JavaScript, Python, and C++. Because I am deeply comfortable operating anywhere from low-level embedded constraints to high-availability cloud environments, I can identify root-cause issues quickly and eliminate single points of failure across the entire software lifecycle.
Whether it’s optimizing cloud latency or automating physical hardware, I build systems that simply work—delivering sustainable, highly secure, and deeply optimized results.

IoT Device Security Protocol
A framework designed to secure IoT devices by providing authentication, encryption, and integrity for device communication and management. Protects sensitive data, prevents unauthorized access, and ensures secure device updates.
ID-Track
A smart access and tracking system that uses ID cards to monitor and log entries and exits in various locations — schools, offices, gyms, events, and more. Provides secure access management with real-time tracking and reporting.
CortexVault
A decentralized platform for Kenyan patients to maintain control over their brain/EEG data while enabling medical research. Features encrypted storage on Filecoin via Storacha, granular researcher access controls, and a bilingual interface aligned with Kenya's DPA.
RDBMS From Scratch
A relational database management system built from scratch in Python. Supports full SQL (CREATE, INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE), INNER JOINs, hash-based indexing, multiple data types, and constraint enforcement.
